We just spent a month in La Paz, BCS, where I wrote a lot, had a couple of great book events, and then, on the way home, we took a shortcut.
We normally cross the border south of San Diego, but while we were down south we heard the pavement from San Felipe (Mex 5) to Mex 1 was almost complete, so we decided to give it a go.
I’m having neck problems, so this probably was not a great idea.

Love, love, love Jinx’s books. They always keep me entertained with Both the mystery element and the humor. a healthy combination to set this award winning author apart from the crowded field.
Hetta Coffey saves the world (well sorta) again! I bought book 11 awhile back and was saving it for a special occasion. Coved-19 happened and viola! Hetta Coffey rocked as she did her Thang and wrangled her way out of more Trouble. Love her…my only complaint is that it wasn’t nearly long enough to last through the entire quarantine period. So. I went back and re-read books 1-11 again. The only problem I have now is 1.) I’m out of Hetta and 2.) I’m starting to talk like her. Good stuff, Ms. Schwartz, thank you! More please!
I just discovered this series and I’m hooked! Binged 1-6. Going to buy the boxed set of the rest! Love the characters!!
Just discovered “Devils” in my books. Had forgotten about downloading it. Stared reading it this morning & just finished. Enjoyed it just as have your others. I Love the impossibilities overcome, the inventiveness of Jan &Jinx, that the gals have a love interest (physical loving hinted, without graphic details detracting from your story line. )
Your bits of geography & nautical knowledge are interesting as well as info about Mexican culture.
Thanks for the hours of laughter & entertainment. Keep writing.
Your fan.

It’s some ungawwwdly hour and I’ve just finished the latest Jinx and friends book.
Your cover art should include a warning that “Just A Few More Pages” is an impossibility. . . You’re going to read to the end in spite of whining and complaining from your two and four legged companions..
When I grow up (fat chance) I want to be Jinx!
Gosh, y’all, thanks for all the kind words! jinx
Hello Jinx, I’ve been a “fan” for many years and devour every book you write. It sounds like me in so many of them. haha. I’ve been to 17 countries in Europe, 28 states of this Union, (love Texas), Mexico, the Caribbean, and gotten myself and my sister in a few “scraps” along the way but nothing serious. My Dad always told us to get to the American Embassy if we needed help. haha. Anyway, I love your work. Please keep the books coming because they thrill everyone who reads them. It’s adventures we need, especially during this crazy time. My “techie” husband is 31 years with HP and has some stories to tell. We travel by the seat of our pants through life and love it. I taught him that…haha…HP doesn’t know how to travel that way. Keep writing Jinx. Sheri $.
