Living aboard her 45′ yacht in Mexico’s hauntingly beautiful Sea of Cortez with her dog, Po Thang, and her parrot, Trouble, Hetta takes on quirky, if sometimes shady, projects to keep them afloat and in frijoles, rum, and plenty of adventure.

She and a cadre of friends, and a few shady characters, have a penchant for a little vigilante justice, which keeps her in hot water on both sides of the border. In order to protect abused animals from a despicable sport, she runs afoul of a vicious gang with cartel connections, and the you-know-what hits the propeller.
